Charlie J. Stephens (When They Took All The Trees) is a non-binary, mixed race fiction writer living on unceded Chochenyo Ohlone land in Northern California. Charlie has lived all over the US as a bike messenger, wilderness guide, book seller and seasonal shark diver (for educational purposes only). Charlie’s work has appeared in Electric Literature, Peculiar, The Racket, Fresh.Ink and Original Plumbing among others.
