Kate Young (The Promise of a Dinner Party) is an awardwinning food writer, cook and bookworm. Her Little Library Cookbooks (The Little Library Cookbook, The Little Library Year, and The Little Library Christmas) feature food inspired by famous, beloved and occasionally obscure works of literature. She has written about food, books, sexuality, and dungarees for various publications, including The Guardian, Prospect Magazine, Slightly Foxed, Stylist, Delicious, and Sainsbury’s Magazine. After a sunny Australian childhood spent indoors reading books, she moved to London, which suited her much better. She is now based in the English countryside.
